Evie is All Ears written by talented author Kellie Byrnes, was Lesley’s picture book debut as an illustrator with publishers Little Pink Dog Books.
It was instrumental in her learning and understanding of the process of picture book development, from initial concept to final production.

This sweet, gentle book pairs the exploration of a real and relevant issue with the wonders and harshness of the Australian bush. It also sheds a spotlight on one of Australia’s most elusive and endangered mammals.
